Our History

Worthing Community Chest is a local, independent charity whose aim is to support community projects and activities in Worthing. We focus on projects which benefit local residents and bring our community together.

We were established in 2001 and, since then, we’ve helped fund more than 400 projects and events and awarded over £500,000 in grants. Read more about the projects and organisations we fund here!

Our grants programme accepts applications up to £1,500 via our Seed, Grass Roots and Grants for Growth funding streams.  We will consider all applications in the Worthing area whose objective is to improve the community.
