Between the Blue and Green held a litter pick at Windsor Lawns on Friday, in partnership with Adur & Worthing Councils, ahead of their Sea2Shore Festival – Worthing’s vibrant annual celebration of seafood, community, and coastal life.
As one of WCC’s previous grant-funded groups, we went along to help Between the Blue and Green’s Nicola Instone get Windsor Lawns clean, tidy and looking lovely. The Council’s Neighbourhood Team, Gwen and Michelle, did an incredible job, as did members of the public who turned out to help on one of the hottest days of the year so far.
The table tennis table, picnic benches and other equipment were scrubbed clean and the beach, fishing locker areas, and lawns tidied and cleared of litter.
The Sea2Shore Festival will take place on Windsor Lawns, Worthing, West Sussex on 12th July – see you there!
